Hey—you've discovered a secret website that hasn't really been launched yet! Welcome to the brand-new, rough-around-the-edges community wiki for Boise, Idaho. Please pardon our mess! We're excited about this project, which we launched in December 2010. We value your participation, so more information will be coming shortly. In the mean time, if you'd like to tinker around or add to the wiki, feel free to register for an account (click the link at upper right) and create new pages or edit existing ones. Thanks so much!

Wiki Help
A Wiki is a linked set of pages that anybody can edit and contribute to if they have the time, access to internet, and a computer.
Wikipedia is the prime example of a successful wiki project.
Editing the Wiki
A good place to start is by checking out the Welcome to the Wiki and the Wiki Quick Start Guide.
If you want to practice editing you can play around in the Wiki Sand Box, or you may first want to check out our FAQ. We also have a list of All Pages in the wiki.
Feel free to make new pages — and try to remember to link them. Also, if you don't know where to start or don't have any ideas, check out To Do.
To see the most recent edits made you can look at the Recent Changes page. Also, be sure to check your userpage as people will at times leave you comments on there.
Making new pages!
To create a new page, simply search for the name of the page you wish to create and then click the "Create a new page with this title" link. Another way to create a new page is by making a link to the page you wish to create from a page that already exists, following the link, and clicking "Create this page."
Leaving a Review or Comment?
The Boise Wiki is a place for sharing information, and—in the comments sections of each page—reviewing, and having civil discussions about, different aspects of Boise. Read more about Reviews and Page Comments.
